During my internship at Hale + Co in Miami Florida’s design district in 1997, I was afforded an amazing opportunity. Myself and the other intern were invited to design CD covers and layouts that would be submitted to the agencies Sony Latin America client for consideration.
We were also offered a $1,000 cheque prize and the opportunity to have real-world work in our portfolios right before graduating. The client ended up choosing this cover design and I took home the money and a great all around experience.
